Garrison Brothers
Sonora Bourbon

Aged 7 Years

Tasting by Emiliano Guajardo - El Whiskilero

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Sweet Pecan wood, Cocoa powder, Rose tips, Honeysuckle, citrus zest, vanilla bean, Custard/Creme brulle

  • Palate: Rose water, Citrus Tea, elevation of Garrisons Chocolate note that evolves into a Chocolate Truffle sauce, Mexican Empanada de Calebaza (pumpkin), Concha (Mexican sweet bread)

  • Finish: Medium lasting finish, Sweet Tobacco, Mixed Berry reduction, Sweet Tea, and Sweet Red wine.

Final Notes: Garrisons Brothers most elevated release yet. Worth every dime. A complex and beautiful example of what Garrison can do within their own walls and bringing Texas flavor to the whiskey drinkers palate. Takes just as long to make as a well smoked Texas BBQ, and hugs the palate with the equal amounts of love.
